His research areas include Optimisation of Manufacturing processes and Production concepts, Quality Engineering, Six Sigma concepts, and Industrial tools.

He has published many research papers in National / International journals and conferences. He is associated with various International journals as a reviewer. He has published a good number of utility and design patents. He is guiding a good number of students in a PhD study as asupervisor.

He is a life member of various Engineering professional societies.
