The Strategic Plan (SP) of Sir Isaac Newton college of Engineering and Technology aims to strengthen the capabilities of the Institute that have been developed over a period that are confident enough to develop in coming years.

Strategic planning is an institution’s academic and administrative process of defining its future course of action and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this direction (5 years) to bring the necessary changes for greater global quality. The institution believes in the integration of teaching with research on par with accreditation, in the freedom and responsibilities that staff members have, in acting with integrity, and in the value of an inclusive and diverse community.

4 Ensure quality education in our institution and serve with pride by obtaining NAAC Accreditation to the Institution with a good grade (A) by 2024. 5 Fetching favor from UGC with 2f & 12b status by 2023. The application has been sent for the process of getting inclusion under 2f & 12b. 6 The institution’s Quality management system gets ISO certification in the year 2022. The institution working for the clause of ISO certification. The institution was certified by the eminent auditor of IAF-ISO in the year 2022.
7 Creating centers of excellence and professional laboratories for each department in collaboration with reputed industries by 2024. The Centre of Excellence process has been initiated by 2022. It can be extended for the institution departments fully in the year 2025.
8 The institutional quality initiatives are recognized in AICTE-NIRF. Participated in the year 2022-2023. Striving hard to reach the top 100 ranks by 2026.
9 Motivating and training the students to improve their employability skills by 2024. The institution trained the students to get employable opportunities in Tier-II Companies with an average salary of 3-4 lks/annum. The institution planned to execute the training program for the students to get employable opportunities in Tier-I Companies with an average salary of more than 4 lks/annum in the year 2026.
10 Plan to apply for various sources available for funding from state and central Govt. Agencies and AICTE for organizing conferences/Seminars/Workshops/FDP/Research projects. Proposals have been prepared and sent to various agencies in the year 2023. The institution aims to get more funds for research activities in the year 2025.
11 Promote the institute as a preferred choice for creamy layers and CBSE students. The process has been initiated with a good number of percentage admissions. Try to admit 80% admissions in the year 2025-2026.
12 Improving research and developmental activities to fulfill society’s needs. Educational linkages in terms of more MoUs with premier institutions and inter-disciplinary research activities to set up research laboratories using seed money. All departments shall have the research potential in their field of attraction in the year 2026.
13 Encouraging our staff and students to publish research papers in reputed International/National journals, particularly in journals with good impact factors, and patents. A nearly good number of papers/patents were published in the year 2023. Planning to establish and inculcate a culture of research attitude among faculty members and achieve good records in the year 2025.
14 Promoting Institute innovative council and Industry-Institute improvement activities to enhance quality education through participating interaction with Alumni, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders, for more achievements. The institution initiated interactions with industrial experts/alumni for invited talks to motivate students for providing practical knowledge and career exposure. Ensure 100% campus placement for all eligible students by providing training facilities in core competency areas in the year 2026.
